Where great minds meet...

Since the 2000s, the number of school dropouts has continued to decrease. But this reduction is still too fragile and nearly 100,000 students still leave school without the slightest diploma. The fight against this phenomenon was made a priority by the Ministry of National Education and was one of the main challenges within the framework of the “Europe 2020 Strategy” program, a program created by the European Union.

The objective was for France, in 2010, to reduce the school dropout rate below 10% and this objective was validated, this rate was 8.2% in 2019 compared to 12.6% in 2010 The aim was to reduce the school dropout rate, reduce inequalities in access to knowledge, raise the qualification level of students and promote social inclusion.

The French Campus of Excellence (FCE) is an education label that aims to be innovative and high-end within everyone’s reach. Drawing on the Socratic idea of self-knowledge, and based on the latest advances at the forefront of knowledge in neuroscience, the FCE is a label that offers a global approach to the individual.

This holistic pedagogy develops on several main axes: knowing how to live, knowing how to be and knowing oneself. The objective of this education is to prepare each student for a future life as a responsible, enterprising and balanced adult, both socio-professionally and morally and emotionally.

Different innovative tools are offered such as the use of meditation (to develop concentration and self-listening, school hours are replaced by meditation for example), sport, individual coaching and taking into account differences (dyslexia, hyperactivity, etc.). The development of Soft Skills is also at the center of FCE teaching. The different Soft Skills which are life skills, interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, adaptability and decision-making are at the heart of the FCE philosophy.

Concerning the professional future of students, the FCE offers various innovative tools:
